The
Montagna Symposium proceedings were published
from 1960 through 1972 as part of the series entitled Advances
in the Biology of Skin. These volumes provided
unique resources for students of skin biology and
investigative dermatology. From 1973 to
2006, the proceedings were published
as a supplement issue in the Journal
of Investigative Dermatology. Beginning
in 2007, proceedings were published as a highlights article followed by papers
under the Symposium banner in regular issues of the JID. A
